The 2012 Audi A6 has the high-tech gadgets and style to attract luxury shoppers, but it lacks the dynamic driving experience of the BMW 5 Series, the benchmark of the class. The refreshed 2016 Audi A6 is a solid update to a stout but unexciting performer, with just enough styling, performance, and technology changes to keep it competitive. Power increases from 220 to 252 and torque increases from 258 to 273 lb-ft.
The A6 has a new standard powertrain: a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine replaces last year’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, providing significantly more power and torque.
